Things To Do Before I Turn 30

Have I mentioned that I'll be turning 30 on July 1st?

30! Argh!

Here are some things I want to do before then... I'll keep you posted on my progress...

  1. Go on a holiday that isn't camping.
  2. Have some professional family photos taken.
  3. Learn to cook some things I've seen on Masterchef: gnocchi, souffle and duck.
  4. Plan a party to mark my 30th birthday.
  5. Take Abbey to visit my Nanna.
  6. Start doing daily exercises again to get more toned.
  7. Get tanned (either a spray tan or fake tanning stuff).
  8. Write more. Maybe study or do a course in writing, just for my own enjoyment.
  9. Decide whether to have another baby.
  10. Start our house extension (obviously I won't be actually doing that, but I want it to have started).
  11. Learn to have something even vaguely resembling patience.
  12. Make some decisions about what I'm doing with my work, and stick to them.
  13. Learn to sew.
  14. Organise my house - which mainly means sorting out Abbey's toys. They seem to breed overnight and spread out through the entire house.
  15. Catch up with friends more often.
Wish me luck!

Well I can help with 1, 3, and 13!

I believe I am helping with #1 already and we have discussed #13.

and YES YES YES to number 9... but you know, it's totally choice and all of that! :o)

Good on you for writing a list, it clarifies your goals and definitely helps you achieve them! Good Luck!

Happy to lend assistance as follows;

#1. Yep. Already planned, can't wait.
#3. Always available for 'guinea-pig' duties...and let me know when the next sausage-stew is on (go on, blog about that one!)
#4. I've already helped with the guest-list, and saved you from some v.embarassing omissions. Just advise when to be where.
#7. That Nivea gradual tan stuff is good. You can stop when it all gets too much. But you know that if you go too orange, I'm quite at liberty to call you an oompa-loompa.
#9. I'll leave that one to youse.
#10. Good. I'm glad yours will be finished before ours even gets approval (you heard about the objection?). It means that we'll have somewhere to doss...
#12 & #14. You're on your own there!
#15. Ready whenever!
