At My House

The lovely Lou at Buttons By Lou Lou (click here to see when I wrote about her gorgeous products) has an 'At My House' post each Monday, which I've been wanting to do for a while now, but am only just getting around to...

So, what's happening here today?

It's a public holiday, so we'll be having a lazy day. I have some leftover mixture from the raspberry souffles I made last night, so I'll try to recreate these beauties:

I've always wanted to be able to make a good souffle (it's even on my list of things to do before I turn 30), so I was deliriously excited when I saw they'd risen so high they nearly hit the top of the oven! And they were so light and fluffy, a bit like heated marshmallows.

Oh, and no doubt we'll eat some more chocolate today too...

Is that picture actually of the ones YOU made? I'm impressed! Are you going to share your recipe or is it a family secret?

A souffle is also on my list of things I would love to know how to make - will have to miss the before I turn 30 part though :)

You certainly do have a good rise on yours and they look exactly like big marshmallows with the pink. Well done.

Thanks for playing along today :)
