Thank God it's Friday, as they say.
What a week it's been here - I've launched my new website, MeganBlandford.com, where you can follow me on my path to writing a series of books and, um, becoming a highly acclaimed published author...
I'm currently working on the second draft of the first book.
I've become a Senior Reviewer for the awesomely wonderful Kids Book Review website.
I met two fellow bloggers and 'tweeps' - Emily and Naomi - who are both from the hills too! It was so great to put faces to names and make new 'real life' friends.
And you all gave me some fantastic advice on how to handle a plane trip with a toddler!
My weekend will be pretty quiet, with lots more writing work to be done. What do you have planned for the weekend?

Hey Megan! It was so lovely to finally meet you on Monday! And we shall need to do dinner or something soon! I am so excited for you with your new site! So great that it's coming together!! For the weekend? I will be workkkkinnggg.... BLEGH! and then partying on Saturday night in Tecoma of all places! haha...
Two soccer matches. I admit it. I dislike soccer. Standing around in the cold, trying to keep an eye on the 3yr old. Not much fun. Would be better if the kids were really in to it! (They are only mildly so.)
Apart from that...not much planned. Which is kinda nice.

The weekend ahead is busy! Working tonight. Auskick Saturday morning followed by work. My big boy will be playing his first junior football game Sunday morning. He is seven years old and I can't believe it, we have reached the next stage in his life. Dinner plans Sunday night with some long time girlfriends. Somewhere in between all of this I need to dedicate to working on my uni assessments which are due in a week! Busy busy....

This weekend for us is me at workshop tomorrow all day re The Batsman (my son) and sunday i will be with kids all day while The Captain plays golf. No rest for the wicked!! Have a great one xx

My weekend looks to be filled with work {computer type work}, writing, blogging and photo taking.
Plus I'm going to tackle my overflowing inbox... I hope I win.

Congratulations, wow looking forward to sharing your journey, went to a musical evening tonight. And hopefully some time at home tomorrow, to finish my holiday club lessons which the church runs for children in the school holidays

Me? Well this weekend I plan to do absolutely nothing much... these kids of weekends are all too rare.
