Life Is Good

The always lovely Thea at Do I Really Wanna Blog? has passed an award on to me: the Life is Good award.

Here are the questions I have to answer to accept the award:

What do you do when you’re bored?

Eat, read, write a blog post, go for a walk.

Are you an autumn, or a spring?

Spring; like a beautiful blossom blossoming... or something like that...

Quick! You’re stuck at an airport for hours, and the only options are crossword puzzle, or an old novel nobody’s ever heard of. Which would you pick?

A crossword; it doesn't require as much concentration as the novel, and I can do some sneaky people-watching while pretending to think of the right word.

Jane Austen or Emily Bronte?

I'd have to say Emily Bronte; Wuthering Heights was the first adult classic I read.

Do you feel prepared for the five other questions coming your way?

Bring it on. Thanks for asking.

Who’s your hero?

I don't really have a hero.

Favorite word?

Ah, the pressure! I can't think of one!

Are you one of those “checklist” people, or are you a “wing it and hope everything goes well” sort of person?

Checklist. Couldn't live without my lists.

What phrase has stuck with you in your life?

'You don't know how to look after little girls!' - I was a very dramatic and, ahem, charming little girl. I am still teased about this one phrase I used when I was about three years old, obviously to let Mum know what a mean person she was.

If you were to choose between coffee and tea. . . which would you go with?

I don't drink either, apart from the occasional peppermint tea, so I'd have to say tea. I love the smell of coffee but can't stand the taste.

And now I'm supposed to tag more people...

Emily at Emlykd The Strange
Ami at Puff Pieces (when she returns from her big trip overseas!)
Lana at The Sharpest Pencil

Great questions & great answers. Love the phrase, your mum must have been so thrilled!! :D
(Actually it sounds like something my daughter would have said, though probably muttered under her breath)
