I'm Loving... And A Giveaway!

This is the second in a new series of posts called "I'm Loving..." where I tell you about the things I love online.

And this one has a giveaway with it!

One of my favourite online stores is Eternal Creation. Not just a place that sells kids' and adults' clothes and accessories - this is an amazing story about ethical trading. Australian designer, Frances Carrington, moved to northern India, at the foot of the Himalayas and began this online business (read Frances' story here, and a wonderful interview with her here). So inspiring!

I've purchased a few things from Eternal Creation so far - a few cute pieces of clothing for Abbey and a dress for myself.

Most recently, I bought Abbey these divine fairy wings, which arrived in a parcel postmarked from the Himalayas:

Be still my heart.

Okay - now for giveaway time!

With thanks to Eternal Creation I have one of these gorgeous headscarfs to give away to one of my lovely readers:

(It's the same pattern as the one my model Abbey is wearing in the photo above, but it's a brand new headscarf still in its packaging.)

I found the headscarf to be a great child's accessory on a recent beach holiday. It protected Abbey's head but didn't get in her way, and she could wear it in and out of the water.

The headscarf is for girls of any age - it is elasticised so it fits from babies right through to older kids (Abbey loved putting it on my head, and it even fit me!).

To enter, you need to do two things:

1. Make sure you're following my blog - so that I can track you down if you win! (I'd also love you to follow me on Twitter and Facebook, but I won't get too bossy...).

2. Head to Eternal Creation's website, have a flick through their amazing selection and come back to leave a comment telling me what you love on their site!

Easy! The giveaway closes on Wednesday night, 22nd September 2010, and I'll draw the winner at random on Thursday morning, 23rd September. Oh, and Australian residents only please!

  1. Well, I'll have a look on the website, but I think it would be entirely unethical for your sister to win ;-)

  2. I am following you and I have just been to the site - I would just like to say it's NOT as easy as all that ;) I want one of everything in the accessory section... Wings, oh the bags! Hair clips... one in every style! My hubby and Credit Card will thank you, I'm sure ;)

  5. I love the pattern on the KD692 Dress and am considering purchase. Those fairy wings are divine - why do most wings only come in silly little pastel colours when the bold, brights are so gorgeous!?

    Already a long-time follower and lover. x

  6. Thanks Maxabella! :)

Just had a sticky-beak at the dress you like - how gorgeous is that?! So bright and summery. Love it.

I agree about the fairy wings - I was a bit frustrated with all the pastel-coloured, glittery ones in the shops but adored these ones.

  7. I have some of the winter stuff for Immy, it was actually Popps when she was little. It still looks brand new even after my naughty drying habits and leaving things in the washer for hours on end.

The new summer romper with the heart on the front is now on my wish list. If only the sun would come out.

    Already following of course.

  9. I LOVE this site and have been a fan of it for a while. Such beautiful clothing and I agree the story behind the clothing is fantastic.
Sadly both my kids have outgrown the clothes... Luckily they have clothes for me too!

  11. Arghhh - why did you have to introduce me to another great shop! ;) I'm in love with the little girls dresses! In particular the red red party dress and hat (I'm thinking Christmas outfit!) and the cornwall dress and hat - gorgeous!

  18. I'm following u everywhere.. but I won't enter.. I am just writing on here to tell u I love ur blog..!! xxx

  19. Not entering because it's really not my son's colour ;) ... but the headscarf is such a lovely idea for the beach. All I've got from my childhood in the tropics is photos of my dad's old hankies tied onto my little head. And having seen my dad's hankies these days ... I cringe to think that I ever had to wear those on my little blonde head. :/

  28. Oh, thank you for the reminder! I have two boys, but an adorable goddaughter, so I would love to win it and post it to her in NZ!

Anyhow, I had a look at the website, which could be dangerous. I love so much of their things. I love 100% cotton as well. So far I like the women's kimonos (sleepwear section) and the cute make up bags, which would make great Xmas gifts for friends.

  29. Hi Melbourne Mumma - oh, how gorgeous are those little bags!

  30. I don't know whether to love you or hate you for this post. I can now see too many spare pennies being sent off to the Himalayas! I held myself back and only looked at ladies' accessories to start with and now want, want, wanty-wanty, want the Peacock handbag. And the Nakamura one - and... I'll stop now.

  31. I reckon you know I'm a follower/fan/liker! :) One of my nieces would love this scarf. :) I love the double breasted girls jacket in that purple-y colour. I'd wear it myself and if I had a little girl would go nuts on the stuff on their website. It's so beautiful.

  33. Sparkly Tiara - aren't those handbags awesome?!

Cat - having a girl is very dangerous for clothes shopping! I've spent more buying Abbey's clothes than my own lately!

Em - yay! It would be so cute on your beautiful baby niece!
