Word Of The Week


Abbey's words of the week this week are...

Go Saints!
Pronunciation: Doe Saints
It's AFL Grand Final week here in Melbourne - and today is the big day! - so we've been teaching Abbey to cheer for the team. 'Go Saints' has been chanted in this house a lot this week and, as all good parents do, we're brainwashing our daughter!

    It's sad the lengths some parents will go to get their children to do things... Me? I'd be happy for my children to go for any team they like. As long as it's Collingwood.

    Love it!! We're not into the AFL, but we've encouraged (read: brainwashed) our girls to cheer for Craig Lowndes in the V8s and it's so cute when they cheer, isn't it?

    I have no idea even now who won the game (hope it was your team?) but I am having a chuckle about the 'brainwashing' bit. Every now and then it occurs to me that we really can shape our children to believe anything... scary thought! x
