Renovations: Days Thirty, Thirty-One, Thirty-Two And Thirty-Three

This past week has felt a little frustrating. The weather earlier in the week held things up a lot, and it's all feeling quite slow.

The roof is still being put on. It's about half done now:

And the plumbers were here setting up the bases for our new bathroom (it's very exciting seeing work begin on the inside!):

Steve and I have been painting:

The pergola over the back decking - the white is undercoat, green is what has been painted so far. The dark green up the top is the actual colour; the pale green at the front is just the first coat 

Starting to paint the fascia boards, while the scaffolding is up (this is a new colour we've thrown into the mix - I didn't like the green next to the roof colour - and, although it's hard to see in the photo, it's a kind of coffee colour)

This coming week, Abbey and I will be escaping the madness, as the builders will be cutting through into the existing part of the house. Here comes the messy part.

The extension joins onto what used to be our front entrance (no, that mission brown door and yellow glass will NOT be recycled!)
