A Blank Page

You may remember that I posted just a short time ago about my writing goals. I was working on a junior fiction manuscript that I was aiming to finish by the end of this year.

Well, it was fast-tracked. I had sent the first three chapters to a publisher, and they wanted to see the rest! So it was head down and super-fast typing time for me, writing the rest of it and doing lots of self-editing to get it ready to send off.

And now, it's all done! I sent it off at the end of last week.

Which means that I now have a clean slate upon which to work. All my manuscripts are complete (for now), so I can push on with other projects.

A blank page awaits me, and all the ideas floating around in my mind can now come forward and make themselves known. I'm thinking of a non-fiction book for adults, another junior fiction novel, and more picture books. Plenty to keep me busy.

Ideas, I am now ready for you.

(Publishers, I am also ready to sign contracts. Please queue up in an orderly fashion - one at a time, one at a time.)
